KCP&L will offer several new energy efficiency products and services to customers living in the demonstration area. See more information about these products.

Smart End Use: Customers living in the demonstration area will be offered several new products and services. These will include:

• MySmart Portal: After the meters are installed, KCP&L will create an internet portal, or website location, where customers who have access to a computer can go to see enhanced information about their energy usage.



• MySmart Display: Similar to the internet portal, a limited number of customers without computer access will have an in-home display that shows their real-time energy usage.



• MySmart Thermostat: Allows you to automatically adjust temperatures for different circumstances during the day or when you are away, to save you energy and money while keeping you comfortable.
