Project Living Proof

As part of KCP&L's SmartGrid project, KCP&L is the lead sponsor of the Metropolitan Energy Center's Project Living Proof, an initiative that allows visitors to experience comprehensive sustainable living. KCP&L is using Project Living Proof as a demonstration house for its SmartGrid customer products, rooftop solar and an electric vehicle charging station. Visit the Demonstration House at 917 Emanuel Cleaver Blvd., Monday through Friday, 10-5 to see the SmartGrid products at work.
