MySmart Display

A simple, easy-to-use device that helps put the power in your hands.

KCP&L’s MySmart Display is a portable electronic device that takes information directly from your meter and presents it to you in easy-to-understand screens. MySmart Display does not require an Internet connection.

The in-home display shows you:

  • How much electricity you use in your home
  • How much that electricity costs
  • Up-to-date bill information
  • Billing estimates for the month *

MySmart Display allows you to set a price limit on how much electricity you want to use for the month. Then it gives you signals with green, yellow and red lights if you’re on track or getting close to going over that limit. It won’t stop you from using energy; it just sends warning signals in case you want to change your energy usage before it’s too late. You get to manage your power usage and your budget.
